Have any of you gentleman or ladies had your students make safety videos for class and if so was it succesfull? I will still go over the content and test the same way, but wanted to try something different due to our district going one to one on technology. In addtion, I want to show administration that we are trying to implememt the new technology in course work out in the shop.

Thank you in advance!

I do it every semester w/ my level one students.
Things that have worked...
Assign specific shop rules for students to demonstrate.
No more than two students per team.
Students may use humor only if it doesn't interfere with the safety message. (Check out the Captain Safety videos on youtube.)
Students' faces do not have to appear on camera. This is a giant hurdle for some.
Let us know how it works out...
All the best,
