I have 13 10th grade girls in my woodworking class this year. all 1st year woodworkers. I am trying to find a nice simple project for them to do which does not envolve a lot of power equipment. They already do turned key chains nad pens. I figured a bandsaw box would be perfect. My problems is that I can't find any simple explanable, easy to do plans anywhere. Does any one have plans for this type of project that they would be willing to share?

Sdapper, post your email. I lost most of my PDF files to a malfunctioned system update, but I will send you an email and we can exchange addresses so I can send you a hardcopy.
I make mine from 3 layers of 2x4 glued up and it is easy enough that I do it w/ 8th graders.

If you have a pretty good scrollsaw I could send you some pictures if you want. My girls make them all the time. They come in the first week wanting to make "that box the other girls made last year". It requires you cutting the top and bottom off on the table saw, although the band saw could be used. And probably should. I have a few sitting around so I would have to take the pix.
